Basketball | 2011-12 NBA Hoops, featured, Jeremy Lin, NBA Hoops, New York Knicks, Panini America | Comments (12)
By Chris Olds | Beckett Basketball Editor
He’s the biggest name in the Big Apple right now, but Jeremy Lin doesn’t yet have a single basketball card showing him as a member of the New York Knicks.
Panini America is ready to change that.
The return of NBA Hoops is now at the forefront of the company’s basketball releases for 2011-12 and Lin will be one of the players found inside packs of the product when it arrives on Feb. 29. It will be the first product released by the company following the lockout as Preferred has been delayed into March.
He will have a standard card as well as an autographed card to be found in the low-end product’s 99-cent packs. Lin’s autographs will be found inside packs, too, and each hobby box of Hoops will include two chances at signed cards such as Lin’s, who has had quite a week for the Knicks.

This is GREAT!
can’t wait for HOOPS to return!!
but if packs are supposed to be around $1 buck a pack, why are presales almost double the price per box?? There are sellers that have them listed for $68-75 per box… (36 packs) or are there going to be a retail version too??

Hobby is, I believe, $2 a pack since it guarantees autos.
Look at all the people in the back who get to be apart of his card!
Look! Another sticker auto!
Jimmer and Isiah Thomas better be in this set!
Hoops has always done it for me. I appreciate their creativity that does not rely on flash. It is the same information and the same players as other brands, but I just like the presentation. I am glad they are the first coming out after the lockout.
PERFECT TIMING! Post-Mavs Championship – I love it!
Cool Looking. I like how the crowd in the background was not airbrushed and taken out.
I went to Walmart today; I didn’t see’m.
Not at Target either.
