I don’t live near a hobby shop and I think it sucks that those who collect don’t have the opportunity to redeem these. There should be some way you can mail them in to hobby shops…poor promotion.

you should have to buy something from the hobby shop you are going to redeem the cards at because people buy online and at walmart and then want the hobby shops to give them cards and send them in. It seems like alot of hassle for the few remaining hobby shops around to help out the retail buyers and online cheapees!

Worst promotion ever. Have four worthless redemption cards for weeks 7,8, and 9 cause all the hobby stores in San Antonio are either closed or don’t have any. Personally feel ripped off by Topps on this one.

Yeah, personally, I wouldn’t bother with a promotion like this one. Too easy to abuse, ignore or give ‘em all out, making it rather pointless.

I went in to redeem my Week 4 one at one of the local card shops in the area, and they just gave me all nine cards right then and there…. As a promotion, this has been a flop for Topps, but the cards still look really nice!

These cards are really good looking in person. Luckily I have the Jeter and Jackie!

These cards are gorgeous. I heard that these are topps pick for the best 9 players at said position. I’m surprised Mays was not on here… I dunno, Mantle was a great player, but i’d go so far as saying Mays should have been on this (afterall, mantle is everywhere!) Just saying.. Still, an awesome set to collect ( i have all the redemption cards!)
