I'm a bit disappointed with Beckett.com. It seems there is less and less news about the industry every week. I would expect an industry leading site to have at least several new articles on the hobby each and every day. As it is, there are times where you can go several days without seeing a new article. In addition, Box Busting is ok but it often seems that what is 'randomly' sent to Beckett for Box Busters is in no way reflective of what most hobbyists experience when opening the same product. I also think that Beckett has a huge conflict of interest in that it sets the prices for the industry, while providing grading services, and selling of sports cards. It is articles like these that grow my frustration. This isn't news, this is an advertisement and should be labeled as such. Could you imagine if Kelly's Blue Book set car prices and then sold used cars nationwide? Nobody would stand for it. I don't think that Beckett will change, but I think that it should.
