Beckett Baseball’s Chris Olds continues his throwback pack-breaking madness as he rips five wax packs of 1981 Fleer baseball — the first Fleer release from the decade where baseball cards truly exploded onto the national consciousness — that were bought on the floor of the National Sports Collectors Convention in this latest Ripping Retail video.

What will he find inside? Will he eat the 20-year-old gum?

Watch and find out …

Whoa, whoa, whoa. You mean to tell me, there was ANOTHER Leon “Bip” Roberts? And that he played for the Mariners in the 80s? And he’s white?

My mind is officially blown.

Thanks for sharing the breaks, I really enjoy them. One comment though, the twitter alerts come through really loud and detract from your presentation badly. If there is anyway to shut off the twitter it would be great.
Thanks again, keep the breaks coming, and I love the vintage stuff.

His nickname wasn’t Bip, according to one site, but I thought it was … but they’re both Leon. So he is but he isn’t … but he is.

Chalk it up to me trying to make a funny.
