You’re kidding about the cards not getting damaged in the tin issue right? It was a problem in 1997 when Donruss/Playoff released Donruss Preferred, or are you guys too young to remember? Unlike your office that gets the boxes directly, many collectors, like myself, are at the very least, the 3rd set of hands that these boxes go through (wholesale distributor to dealer to consumer) not to mention the amount of shipping they go through. Believe me, shipping companies don’t care that these are cards and will jostle the boxes even if the distributor and dealers don’t. I opened a couple of tins of Sweet Spot and watched many others get opened. There were various degrees of damaged corners coming out of almost every pack. Why Upper Deck decided to return to this kind of packaging after Donruss/Playoff ditched it 13 years ago for obvious reasons is beyond me.

uhhhhhhhhh, because Upper Deck doesn’t care nor have they ever cared-about customer satisfaction. And I’m sure if Rich himself were to reply to me, he’d say “you’re a LIAR !!” (just like he did in an e-mail a few years ago)
