Rookie Premiere means first look at players in their NFL unis, autographs & more

By Chris Olds | BSCM Editor

We’ll have plenty more from this year’s NFL PLAYERS Rookie Premiere that’s winding down today in Los Angeles in the next issue of Beckett Football but we’re not going to make you wait that long.

Here’s a gallery of images from Beckett’s Jon Gold, who is at the event, as well as images released by Panini America and Topps, the official NFLPA card licensees, who are at the Premiere to get work done that will last throughout the football card season.

See plenty of images after the jump.

But before we get to the images, how about a little rap from Cam Newton caught on camera by Gold?

Those inception cards look sick!!! It’s really to bad the cards look all beat up, quality control is definetly a miss when it comes to high end cards from all companies. I will just keep buying mid-range stuff until they figure out that high end should also include high end QUALITY also.

Wow they seem to all be on card Autos. Very cool. The topps Inception stuff looks damaged already with all the white showing on the edges

As always, Panini does an excellent job. The photoshopped Inception cards really look bad in my opinion, almost like SAGE’s early draft product this year. The blue sky backgound on the Topps RPAs looks bad as well. Score this one for Panini.

As a Pats fan I’m drooling over the Pen Pal Triple of Mallett, Vereen, and Ridley! I dig the Topps offerings, ESPECIALLY the Inception cards! They’re sick!

Love the trend of returning to on-card autos. Hopefully less redemptions and more in-pack pulls will happen as well.

How is there a 6 auto of the QBs in the draft and Cam is not on there? Does that seem weird to anyone else?
