My dad raised me as a Dodger and I learned to love them. He was born in 1926 just like the Duke. When my Dad died a few years ago, a part of the Dodgers died with him. Now that my boyhood idol is also gone, I feel very lonely. As long as I still can hear Vin and see Koufax, I am okay. Time marches on. I am now 60 and my boys of summer are fading into their own winter. Still, there are a few left.
