McFarlane Toys has announced a pair of upcoming projects that focus on the big and small of two professional sports leagues.
This fall, McFarlane will work with video game-maker 2K Sports to offer a 3-inch Kobe Bryant figure only available with the NBA 2K10 Anniversary Edition video game that arrives in early October.
The special edition will cost $100 and is available for the PlayStation 3 or the XBox. It includes a 2K Sports’ NBA 2K10 game locker, the figure, a 16×36 Bryant poster and a NBA 2K 10th anniversary DVD.
The game can be pre-ordered at GameStop.
With the NFL season just around the corner, McFarlane has a pair of 12-inch SportsPicks planned for two of football’s biggest quarterbacks — Big Ben Roethlisberger of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys signal-caller Tony Romo.
The 12-inch figures are set for release in November.
