Press Pass to go high-end with upcoming NASCAR product

Press Pass announced its first high-end NASCAR set on Tuesday in Press Pass Showcase, a product that will arrive on July 15 packing plenty of thunder and high-speed punch.

Every five-card pack will include an autograph or memorabilia card from a top driver in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and there will be only three packs per box (six boxes per mini case) with a $225 suggested retail price.

The set will include multi-signed teammate autograph cards, oversized autographed memorabilia cards, and the first autographed memorabilia cards of this year’s four top rookies.  Every card is sequentially numbered and there are four parallel versions of each base card.

Every mini case will include redemption cards for race-used memorabilia items, Dale Earnhardt autographs, autographed 50th Anniversary lithographs, exclusive Four Wide cards or vintage autograph hot packs.

The base set will consist of 50 cards, which is capped by four short-printed rookie autographed firesuit memorabilia cards — Joey Logano, Scott Speed, Marcus Ambrose and Brad Keselowski.

Autographs will be found one per box with three different types of signed cards to be found — Elite Exhibit Ink, Classic Collections Ink and Prized Pieces Ink.  The Elites are individual cards of top Sprint Cup drivers, while the Classics are multi-signed cards of teammates. The Prized cards are memorabilia cards  (race-used tire, limited to 45) , (race-used sheet metal, limited to 25) and firesuit (limited to five).

For the memorabilia cards, which will be found two per box, there are also Elite Exhibit, Classic Collections & Prized Pieces. The Elites are numbered to 99 or less with each card featuring three race-used memorabilia swatches — tire, sheet metal and firesuit. The Classic cards focus on teams with tire cards, sheet metal cards and firesuit cards. The Prized cards are oversized memorabilia swatches of tire, sheet metal and firesuit.

I would bet this product sells like gangbusters with a potential to find an Earnhardt auto.
