I see the banner ad at the top for subscribing but I do not think it make it very obvious that is what it's purpose is. Also a renew option might be a desirable option. The banners can sometimes be easy to miss when scrolling around but a simple button link object to subscribe might be more intuitive. Best wishes. :)

Hope I did not miss it but the main page would benefit from a nice SUBSCRIBE button with and option to resubscribe for anyone poor soul that has let their subscription fall off current status.
:) Keep up the great work with the magazine and the site!

Topic: First Impressions of TSO?
Posted: Sunday, December 07, 2008 10:51:49 PM
Even after almost 4 years of play still finding neat things from the Original game like the Fire and Ice Quest and finishing up some of the Pea**** series from Desert of Flames but this weekend we got our first taste of TSO but working the start of the A Thread of Hope heritage quest. Players should note that this HQ scales to your level so when we picked up the level 55 HQ as level 70 toons we thought we had a cakewalk on our hands. The level 71-74 3 up mobs near the entry to the Deep Forge can see inviso so took a savaging early in but will revisit it soon I am sure.
The great things about this expansion are probably mostly subtle yet very meaningfull like the new mapping system and the group crafting I have heard about. We have just scratched the very edge of this one but I am sure it will prove to be another great one.

Definately the best mini guide out and a perfect reason to buy the mag or better yet get a subscription. I think AOC is a lot like Vangaurd in that it may have come out just a bit before it was ready for prime time but should smooth out in the next few months and reach more of it's promise of a really great multi faceted MMO high end experience.

I am not playing this game but for years have seen it get great reviews. The LinkedIn MMO group made me aware that crafting exists in EVE and that definately ups the interest ante. I also learned that they have guilds but they are called coperations instead. Ok EVE players that is a good lead in to fill the rest of us in about what you love about your game. :)

Oh man thanks for posting the video. Definately makes me wish I would have purchased the lifetime subscription when the original game came out! EQ2 is still my favorite but LOTR is a VERY VERY worthy competitor. :)

I have been playing EQ2 since March 2005 and it is still my favorite MMO hands down. The game is so rich in content that my guildmates and I still took pleasure in doing some of the quest from the original game. As an avid crafter I really look forward to seeing some of the changes that come with Game Update #50 and the TSO expansion pack. For those of us who own Guild Halls we understand all too well that to really deck it out we will need to be involved in lots of guild status earning activities and TSO seems like it will deliver on the promise of an even greater variety of things to do and help contribute to a guilds success.

Unfortunately I started a new job in May and have not been able to visit the site much the last few months but have to say both the site and the magazine just keep getting better and love both. Keep up the good work and look forward to being more active here and spreading the word about all the new forums and features.

That is a great calculator thanks for posting the info. Guild Halls should be a really great way to keep guilds and players motivated for sometime to come. I am sure like most things it will balance out over time.
