Im not an IT but it appears in this period where a lot of companies are downsizing and laying off workers that IT's are being hit hardest, no? Since the late 80's and early 90's there seems to be an over abundence of people looking for computer related work and I would think that this ultimately hurts the profession, companies can afford to replace people much cheaper. ... but maybe im all wrong, just an outsider looking in. If anyone is looking for a new career, go into the healthcare field, there will never be a shortage there. Wink

Consultants are first to go
then IT
Managers are taught and believe IT takes from the bottom line

dice.com was also recommended by my brother....

I'm viewing this as an opportunity to do some work on the house I just bought. I need to paint the exterior, and that is 90% sweat, 10% cost. That is the perfect cheap type of home improvement I need to work on.

Again thanks for the comments and the PMs. Didn't want to "cry" about it to you guys, or look for sympathy or anything, just figured I complained enough about work on here in the past, I should put this breaking story out there.

Back to the yard word, and the cool 75 degree sunny day.

And my boss is cooped up inside the office still.
