FIRST CONTEST CLOSED.
I have started busting. No entries after this post will be accepted. There will be another contest after I crack a few cases. There are 37 entries, and it should create some excitement. Good luck everyone! Nathan P.S. Please note that I have separately recorded all entries. Because of the editing function on beckett boards my transcribed version is official. |

Case #1, Box #1
Blue Draft: Jeff Manship, Dustin Dickerson Refractors: Kyle Blanks, Darrell Ceciliani Xfractor: Jose Lobaton Blue Refractor: Daniel Berg Orange Refractor: David Ortiz Auto: Randal Grichuk Grade: C Comments: My grades are always a little squirrelly early in a break, so please chime in if you think I'm overgrading or undergrading. A C grade should represent average value for my delivered price of $53.33 a box. I grade this box as average. Grichuk is the auto I wanted most, so I'm happy to see it in the first box. Seeing orange so early was nice also, but none of the parallels are on my top 25 list. I think I got solid value from this box. |

Can't complain about pulling the auto you wanted most. That rarely happens for me.

If you pull anything unusual of Jason Bay or Clay Buchholz, I'd be interested in trading.

just make sure you get some big hits after case 3 this time...2 supers early kinda took the wind out of the last break...you did well dont get me wrong, just a little of a letdown after such a nice start

Case #1, Box #2
Blue Draft: Christopher Lovett, Wyatt Toregas Red Draft: Robbie Cordemans Refractors: David Holmberg, Seth Schwindenhammer Xfractor: David Hale Auto: Chad James Grade: A Comments: Wow -- a 1/1 in my second box! It's not the kind I prefer, and frankly, I'm less than impressed with the salmon that is supposed to pass for red (the Dutch uniform makes the card border look closer to orange than to red), and with the scratchy surface, but it's a damn good pull, with significant cash value. The other cards aren't anything to write home about, but the base refractors both contribute. If this were my only box, despite the xfractor serving as the sole numbered chrome parallel, I'd have to conclude that I got excellent value. |

Okay, maybe one in case 5 and one in case 10. I feel a red auto in one of these cases. |
