VGQV, I just checked out your Bowman '48 box break - I'm hopefully getting that box for Christmas. I've watched quite a few box breaks of those boxes. Hopefully I get slightly better autos than the ones you pulled, although I will enjoy opening the box no matter what cards I pull.

It's difficult to notice the 'smudge' on the Jordan auto you pulled in the UD Black box. What did you do with the card in the end?

I like this Upper Deck Black break where he pulls a Lebron James/Chris Paul Quad Auto /5 which get's a rather un-enthusiastic 'sweet'

Will, do post what you get on here with scans won't you?  Think I'm going to wait for Certified before getting a box shipped into the UK .... although I can't decide between bying a box of Playoff Contenders, Limited or Certified.  Any recommendations would be gratefully received!

Hey James, yeah, I'll post pictures of the cards that I pull if/when I get the Bowman '48 box for Christmas (my girlfriend keeps pretending it's not arrived in the post yet, but I can tell when she's lying!). I don't have a scanner but I'll take some photos with my digital camera instead.

I watched the Youtube clip but couldn't see the Chris Paul card. However, the guy showed no emotion when he pulled a sweet looking Iverson/Melo card.

I think people should have to pass a personality test before they are allowed to film themselves breaking boxes. Seriously, these guys are so boring!

yeah, that is what a lot of people say....all this is going on ebay. Seems that they just break to sell....where is the joy of collecting and keeping a great hit?

to answer ur 1st question:
most of these people u mention have recent started collecting cards. Back then in the 90's, upper deck and topps were all about the design and cool looking inserts. When you would get a jersey card, the odds would be tough and u would be estatic (pulled a Jerry West 15,000 pt jersey card recently from 01-02 upper deck UDX and being a Laker fan, can't tell u how happy i was). Nowadays, both companies have flooded the market with jersey cards and autographs. Newer card enthusiasts are just looking for *hits* to sell for much higher on EBAY. How sad!?! That's why I still buy packs from the 90's and early this decade. In this day and age, Upper Deck, mainly, is all about makin' and rippin' off people's money.

oh yeah...check out sum of my breaks on youtube, username: akuballer...sorry for the audio...u can see how excited i get...hehe...haven't recorded for a long time, but my PC have gotten much larger...some amazing MOJO pulls like MJ autofocus radiance, rose RC auto radiance, mayo sp authentic RC auto, blake griffin prestige college logo auto/99, stephen curry RC auto jersey threads, jennings RC topps all-mcdonalds auto (did sell it on ebay for more than $200 at the peak, was happy as hell to pull it and was going to keep it in my PC before he blew up), and many more...dang maybe i should start recording again, but with better audio of course...take it easy guys and gals
