What an amazing discovery
So I am at my Parents house and I found some "older" cards. Well, I was looking through some of them and I discovered this 2002 Absolute Shaun Alexander Leather and Laces 'Football' card. Now, what is so amazing about this you might ask? well, on the card it says Dolphins vs Seahawks 10/28/01. Then on the back,
"The enclosed piece of football was cut from an authentic football used in an officila NFL game on December 28, 2001 featuring the Dolphins vs Seahawks..."

How amazing is that, a memorabilia card that actually tells you where the mem. came from as opposed to this I got from Topps "The memorabilia on this card was not used in any particular game or event"

Collect DeAngelo Williams, Seahawks (rookie, auto, jersey's and Parallels), Erik
Ainge and Kenny Britt!

That IS amazing!!! It's funny because I always thought that would be a cool idea to actually state what game a jersey piece is from. It would be a cool step in the "evolution" of trading cards. I had no idea they have already done that before.

Currently collect: NON-SERIAL NUMBERED autos, Topps, and Topps Chrome cards of players in Bengals uniforms.

Nice card.  It should trade very well, if it is in good condition.

That's an awesome card, DavidShep! I wish they would produce more cards like that. Very cool feature to actually know what game the jersey is from.

Currently collect: NON-SERIAL NUMBERED autos, Topps, and Topps Chrome cards of players in Bengals uniforms.

I wish they did more of this as well... it makes it more personal... LIke what if you went to a game and you could just specify what game of GU you would like to collect... it would open up a whole new "SET" to collect... because now your collecting a Game instead of just a player or team... that would be sweet...

Wow, I never even thought of that aspect. That would be sweet!! Or you could collect a game that has some sort of historic aspect, like if someone breaks a NFL or franchise record or something.

So i am curious, does it actually say Dolphins vs Seahawks 10/28/01 and Then December 28, 2001? Sounds like an error to me.

Not sure if that was just a typo on your end or what but just curious.
