Why is he still in Low A right now? Does he have bad defense or is there another issue for him.

He seems to be a slap hitter in the Ichiro mold as he takes very few walks and strikes out just as rarely.

Hitting .411 with 6 triples and 22 stolen bases with a .469 on base percentage.


When BDP first came out he was considered a throw away pull for the most part. Now his gold refractors are getting $150-175 a pop.

He is a little to young yet. Give him a little less than a month, and he should be in high A.

I just went to watch him. He truly deserves at least to be in high A Ball. He made 2 spectacular catches in the outfield, and smacked a single (it could have been a double, if the guy on first hadn't been so slow.) Though he is very young, he truly deserves to be in a higher level. The only thing that's holding him back is his 5'7" frame.
