Need Collector Reviews for 2008 Donruss Elite
2008 Donruss Elite Football
Once again, Donruss comes through with another great football product. 5 boxes out of different cases gave me 2 complete sets and enough inserts to last a lifetime. Pros: Excellent quality control, great pictures, great rookie selection. The Throwback Threads dual jerseys are excellent (I pulled the Marino / Favre). Cons: Enough with all the various inserts already. Does anyone actually put those insert sets together? Not only are there the various inserts, but also the various print runs of the various inserts. Is it that hard to put the dual Throwback Threads jerseys on the same side? I'm just not a fan of the two sided card (it limits your display options). Overall, a fun product with good value for your hard earned cash. Why buy a tank of gas when you can buy a box of 2008 Elite for probably less. Score on a 10 scale: 8 Tom McNabb Avondale, AZ |

2008 Donruss Elite Football
Pros: Great looking rookie cards, excellent parallels, overall satisfaction with pulls in the boxes. Cons: All die-cuts are cut the same, seems like every other insert is numbered to 800. Brandon Boyd Erie, PA |
