[Austin V - Wainwright/Reyes Connection]

PART 1:

Ok guys, I am planning on eventually selling some cards and was wondering if I should bunch all of these up or pick a few out to sell seperate. Here is what will probably be sold:











So will any of these sell ok by themselves or should I group them?

I like the Teixeira auto, Swisher letter auto, and the Griffey auto.

I am not sure how well all of those cards would sell.

Pick a few out and sell seperate, thats what I would do myself..

BTW some sweet cards in there you have.

Griffey won't be sold if I do the sale because its PC.

i saw your other thread pertaining to the costs of collecting and having to make tough decisions based on limited resources and life situations....

here you say you are thinking of selling off some stuff....

based upon these two posts , i have a question.....are you looking to sell stuff strictly to raise money to cover things unrelated to the hobby (tuition , rent , utilities or whatever your bills may be) ? or are you looking to merely sell off less important material as a way to continue funding you PC without relying so heavily upon your current resources ?

if raising money is not an urgent need , then i'd like to make a similar suggestion to you as i did in another member's similar thread a few minutes ago....

i agree with going with smaller lots based on team or player , but i have one other suggestion for you if you haven't already done it....

go ahead and make a list of all the cards you want to move....post the list in the trading forums here...just state it plain and simple....you're looking to get rid of a lot of low-end stuff but before putting them on e-bay you wanted to make them available to team/player collectors and set builders here first.....as you can already see by multiple posts in this thread asking about certain players and teams there IS a market here.....you may be able to pick up a few nice PC items here while simultaneously filling the needs of a few other board members....

THEN , after say a week or two of trying to move them here you may have a more manageable number to list on ebay (or whatever outlet you choose)

I understand what you mean. I thought about that and may try that idea as the money is not an immediate issue. I mean I could use it just in case but at the moment it is not a necessity.
