along with using the new discuss feature to see all the threads you have commented on you can bookmark this thread so you can always find it

post pick ups
show it off
all things vintage

a few rules to keep things user friendly:

set pic size to no larger than large [prefer medium i'm guilty myself]
if posting multiple pics use a slide show
when quoting someone please delete the pics from the quote.

i really dont care for rules, but these few guidelines ensure that even those that still have a floppy drive on their pc can view and contribute.

and here is the inspiration for the thread. a $4.00 common card i am very happy to own
this one was no bargain but had allot of bid interest.
it is very hard to find cards like this from this year

I have been thinking about starting a vintage collection. I dont really have the funds to get crazy, but i see totran you got that for $4, so i guess you just have to look for good deals.

It may book for $4, but that sharp, clear, and centered, I doubt he got it for that.

no no bv in nm is $4 this is more than nm, i wont know exactly till its in hand but with 9 bidders i won at $14 delivered

expensive yes but i quit smoking and freed up $16 a day

$16 a day?! I can't believe you're not crazier than you are, if you quit smoking that much. Or maybe cigarettes are much more expensive than they were when I quit.

Oh i see, well i dont smoke so i guess im out of luck lol, college and books cost a lot so money is tight. I like the 51 Bowman.
