Just wanted to get your thoughts here guys and gals. Beckett does a lot of viedos of signings and athletes and card company events, i thought it would be a good idea to show the grading process and how they grade, encapsolate, do the pop reports, etc. Let me know your thoughts here....

Sure, hopefully it's more accurate than PSA's.

Most likely the reason we have not seen it is you know there are going to be such huge scrutinizing of every little thing that BGS probably doesn't want to have backlash from it.

This is just like the situation when they put up a picture of the time a guy brought in like 100 or so Gretzky rookies and the picture shows them all over the table. People went nuts, but with that one instance we do not know the full story, the owner could have put them down like such for all anyone knows.

I'm not saying BGS does anything wrong, but there are people out there who will say what they do is wrong because of this and that. Critics ya know !

Well said! I'm not going to lie, i didn't think of that and forgot about that whole instance. I guess i am most interested in the technical part of it all. Not so much the aspect of holding and grading the card. You know what I mean?

Eric Jaanke made his first foray into the grading area to sorta begin the process of opening the door--- you can see his visit to that area in the BLOGROLL area which can be accessed from the homepage--right hand side-- about 3-4 inches down its called BECKETT BUZZ. Its the last article all the way down .

The "presumption" is that he will be showing more as time goes on,,,,,,,, you'll understand why I say "presume" after reading it and seeing the video,,,,,,,,,,

As usual, Beckett would be better off trying to be serious than a little skit like that. Either make it off limits or just show us the process in a serious way so we can know. To do a lame skit like that just shows they have too much time on their hands that they probably really don't have when emails and orders are not getting done on time or correctly.

Personally, I wouldn't mind them taking a random order, contacting the person who owns the order, and getting permission to do a video of start to finish on it including the receive day and finish day. I volunteer my order that goes in for the BOT each month if they need someones permission, my last two contain autos that would make for additional footage that would be nice to see the process on.
