wow, Medlen was last year now Kalitta sadly passes today. I was lucky enough to meet with Medlen and get his autograph as well as Force's on a Castrol hat I had down in the pits two events before Medlen passed. This is tough too knowing how big the Kalitta name is to the NHRA circuit

They actually showed it on ESPN a few minutes after they announced it. I thought it was pretty tasteless.

I can't believe how short of a runoff some of these tracks have. Look for this to have an effect similar to Earnhardt's death as far as safety goes.

I love NHRA, it is my favorite sport because of the simple fact that the drivers are so nice and accessible.

I have met him and have an autographed tire from his car that won't be going anywhere soon...
