Starting this thread on a sad note. Carleton "Mac" McDiarmid, theHockey Hall of Fame Collection artist, passed away April 25, 2009 inMontreal, contributing an outstanding legacy to hockey card collectorsof all backgrounds.

Mac was first and foremost a friend who elevated the meaning of friendship.

The conception and realization of the Hockey Hall of Fame Collectionwas a passion we both shared, a project that others doubted but in theend was completed and produced on three different occasions.
