Your thoughts on this deal...
This trade offer is really picking up steam here in Utah and it looks like there's some truth to the rumor based on the reaction Jazz GM Kevin O'Conner gave in an interview a couple days ago. Here's the much talked about deal...
Jazz trade... Carlos Boozer, 2008 1st Round Pick (23rd overall), 2008 2nd Round Pick (44th overall, from the 76ers), 2009 2nd Round Pick (TBD) Heat trade... 2008 1st Round Pick (2nd overall) The deal would only take place if the Bulls drafted Rose with the #1 pick, then the Heat would draft Beasley and the trade would happen after that. If Chicago picks Beasley at #1 then the deal is off. There's a lot of talk about Boozer wanting to play in Miami due to the medical condition of his son (insert Derek Fisher here), and his home is in Miami so this could work out for both teams. Pat Riley made a comment a couple weeks ago that Boozer is on his wish list, plus Riley has stated that they haven't made a commitment to Beasley yet. Is this a fair deal for both teams? |

Pretty even deal for both teams, maybe not including the higher of the 2nd round picks in the deal would make it just about right.
Should be an interesting draft, though we say that about every draft and I've come out disappointed by the lack of trades/movement that actually occur after all these rumors are floated around. I'm sure though Miami is trying to work something out with the Clippers as well that involves the #2 pick to try to acquire Elton Brand Also I've heard the Bucks are trying to move up to #3 or #5 to get Mayo and that other than Bogut and Yi, everyone else is available. Personally I think the only untouchable for the Bucks should be Bogut and possibly Ramon Sessions, and just make everyone else available. I'd do Charlie V and #8 for the #5 pick and whatever trash Memphis wants to include. On another note, Ersan is back in Milwaukee training right now at the Bucks facilities and meeting up with the new coaching staff. Appears that he will be coming back this season, especially if the Bucks move CV, Simmons, or Mason and don't draft a SF/PF like Joe Alexander or Anthony Randolph |

Wow...I like it and hate it at the same it. It would be hard letting go of CBooz but I dont want a player on the team that doesnt want to be on the team. I already feel like CBooz doesnt give a full effort when he is playing and the fact that he would love to play in Miami only adds more fuel to the fire. I do think the Jazz are giving up too much though. Maybe 2 DP's and Boozer. Not 3 though.
Deron to Beasley.....I guess I could get used to it. |

Your thoughts on this deal...
seems reasonable for both teams
heat get a very solid player in boozer plus the other players from the draft (and they definitely could use some new players) i think i like it for the jazz just b/c i don't see them getting over the hump with booz so why not take a chance with beasley |

I think the trade would work out for both teams, even though I think Utah is giving up 1 draft pick too many...Boozer wants to go to Miami b/c he has a home there and also for his son's treatment? So be it...Utah did it for Fisher, why not Boozer? Anyways, I'd like to see Beasley play against the Lakers atleast 4 times a year.

Your thoughts on this deal...
My family knows some people(lakers fans like us) that know Dr.Buss(Lakers Owner), and they sit in his box every playoff game(well used to) and he said that they are trying to Move Lamar Odom + A sign and trade of Sasha Vujacic for a high first round pick. Seems intersting.
BTW: We were all on tv after the Lakers beat the spurs in game 4 on TNT. They flew down all the way from LA to see the game and they sat courtside. |

I would agree with everyone else and say that it's a solid deal, but it's one DP too many. Get rid of the Sixers pick. Is Riley trying to build a team of players that don't care as long as they get paid? First Marion, now Boozer. Who's next, Marbury?

marion>boozer (could they even pay both?) and the heat need to get a young piece
jazz would be thrilled to get a beasley to go with deron. that would be sick |
