I hear about Trevor Cahill, Daid Price, Madison Bumgarner, and Brett Anderson all the time. Would you consider Alderson underrated? His stats arent bad. Not for sure if you would call him a power pitcher.

Alderson is extremely impressive, especially considering the league he pitches for.

His base chrome have really went down. They seem to be a bargain at $10-$15 delivered.

I've bought them at that price. I traded a Rasmus sterling for a blue Alderson.

Is there any truth to the rumors of him being a closer or relief guy?

The Giants would be total idiots then.

They're considering the possibility of him working in the pen, but I think his talents would be wasted then. Imagine a rotation consisting of Lincecum/Cain/Alderson/Bumgarner/Zito.

Considering his age as well. He is a Cal League All-Star too. I wonder if Pucetas, English, and Snyder's seasons have overshadowed Alderson....
