DAVID PEARSON - The best of all time in NASCAR. 2nd in wins 20th in starts. only ran for the cup 4 times and won 3 of them. Also I think I have a man crush jk lol

RICHARD PETTY - The king did as much for nascar off the track as he did on.

DALE EARNHARDT - 7 championships a ton of fans, Wasnt as good as pearson but he did run full time all the time and was great.

FIREBALL ROBERTS - He was the dale earnhardt of his time, When he died it was as big of a blow then as dales was now.

LEE PETTY - You just cant ignore his wins. also how do you vote against someone that argued against his sons first win.

I'd say without The France Family, there would be no NASCAR!!!

Saying that, I think the 1st class for the Hall of Fame should have been 5 drivers or team owners and then 5 people who contributed to the sport (founders, track owners, promoters, etc.).
