that was the same pitch that Beckett got all night, so fair is fair, it was borderline just like Beckett got on A-Rod and giambi early in the game

I love how Sox fans go nuts when their guys get hit or thrown at when the stats show that in the past like 5 years the Red sox have beaned something like three times as many yankess as the other way around. But forget the facts, let the Joba bashing continue:roll:It's just the fact that Joba has done it to Youk literally every game in which they have faced each other... not today, the first time, he stared and yelled from the top of the dugout and yelled at joba from first base.. |

poppudaimadochi Wrote:I never got that. Why do umps make calls based on past calls? If they called a bad strike earlier, get over it! They shouldn't make up for it later, when it is a whole different situation. Now, Beckett did get a couple of calls, but I HATE how umpires try to make up for missed calls. Live on and make the next call correctly. Don't change a call because you missed one earlierK and K Cards Wrote:numba1yankeefan Wrote:lowell just flipped out!Pitch was a solid 4 inches off the plate. Nevermind when Wake pitches he rarely throws a strike, but they call it where it lands for him, most are too high when they cross the plate |
