Pitch was a solid 4 inches off the plate. After getting rung up on a poor call earlier I don't blame him.
And where is homerBrad complaining about the umps now

that was the same pitch that Beckett got all night, so fair is fair, it was borderline just like Beckett got on A-Rod and giambi early in the game

But forget the facts, let the Joba bashing continue:roll:
It's just the fact that Joba has done it to Youk literally every game in which they have faced each other...

or that it was a mistake and Youk went nuts and overreacted and now it is a problem, nah, it cant be that.

He did? I missed the overreaction, and the incident. What did Youk do?

not today, the first time, he stared and yelled from the top of the dugout and yelled at joba from first base..

It wasn't borderline!!! Clearly inside....They would have had a chance to friggen win it if he called that a ball. :x

I never got that. Why do umps make calls based on past calls? If they called a bad strike earlier, get over it! They shouldn't make up for it later, when it is a whole different situation. Now, Beckett did get a couple of calls, but I HATE how umpires try to make up for missed calls. Live on and make the next call correctly. Don't change a call because you missed one earlier

Beckett got every call, it was ridiculous the calls he gets, Giambi and A-Rod in the first or second inning, it wasn't even close, and they were squeezing joba a little too. Nevermind when Wake pitches he rarely throws a strike, but they call it where it lands for him, most are too high when they cross the plate
