I just feel it was a work due to the way everything has panned out the past few months. I remembering reading that Brett was supposed to come back about 18 months from the PPV Owen died. When he died is when he felt betrayed by Vince for not stopping the show. That is where there grudge came from. Vince could not pay Brett his contract and took care of him. I want you to remember all Vince had to do was walk down and take the belt and walk in the back. Brett still would have won but no belt. It is a show and it is just my own feeling it was work. Like you said Vince is a marketing beast and saw the big picture. If it was real you have to admit there are alot of holes and it is defintly worth looking into.
