Well, he's yet to respond to me asking for scans of the reverse of the card or even WHO is on the other side on his Malkin....I hope for the buyer's sake it's legit, cause it's already at 600 with more than 8 days left.

let's try and seperate the beckett user "thegeek72" from the seller of this auction. i've dealt with this seller before and each time was smooth and quick. though this seller is known for his abrasive comments towards offers he feels are lowballs, he is legit and does have legit cards.
also, it amazes me what some of you guys are saying you are trading for a dual auto shield card of malkin and kessel. for a dual auto shield of 2 star players that could easily fetch $1,000+ on the open market, do you really think someone would just trade down and accept a few RCs and game used cards or some rarer parallels? if that was the case, you would all be messaging every seller on ebay with a dual shield to see if they'd do the same thing. if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Well said!  Obviously a scam from the start!  Thats just common sense.

It takes the fun out of collecting thats for sure.  I sold an Ovy patch auto on ebay for 130.00.  Buyer said he never recieved it.  Did this to at least 5 others (that I talked with through email), was kicked off ebay, yet paypal STILL took my money.  Now Im forced to charge higher shipping to Canada where most of my cards go, due to one idiot. And to the people wanting to find "thegeek" and get his cards back...If I were in canada i would go to "Anth Semp's"  house and take my cards back, thats for sure.

My first deal with him seemed like a fair trade. Niklas Backstrom auto patch /10 for a Luongo complete jersey. I just never got the Luongo and later found out it was sold on Ebay!
