Any word if Topps is going to do anything like this set again? The 05-06 '52 Style seemed popular, as it was a great value for singles and set collectors. It wasn't priced too high for casual collectors like myself, and the number of inserts and parallels was modest, meaning master set builders had a good, attainable challenge. I'm guessing that it wasn't profitable enough compared to the high-end sets they put out, and not worth the effort to obtain all of the autographs. I hope I'm wrong, and Topps will put out another vintage-themed basketball product with a large autograph set of retired players for the purists.

I also wonder if Isiah and Otis kept the cards?
Plus all cards were on-card, plus super rare no redemptions(except for the Wade, but those are not part of the Fan Favorites)
I wonder how they pulled it off with close to 200 players.

It seems Topps got most of the players from that Association.
After seeing so many autos being backdoored, I am thinking they didn't sell as much as they had hoped. I wonder what is the standard companies use in the % of cards they kept from packs, since for this set it seems they kept around 30% of the Chrome/Refractor Autos that have now been backdoored. The base Gold for this set must be really rare in that less than the 25 were available in packs,since I have not seen those backdoored.

I have never seen any of these two cards since the release of the product. These two cards might have never been released.

I kick myself for not keeping mine every time I see a set. I think how hard it would be to start over and even get halfway like I did!

His BIN is pretty outrageous, even though BV is up there. If I had the money, I would pay $1500 for the set, but not much more. I'd say $2k tops. If you compare that to a single Exquisite auto of someone, especially an unproven young player, that's a no-brainer in my book.

The first set I saw complete was sold for 5000 a few months after released to a collector that goes by pippen.

the second set I saw was sold by kimmib8767, went for around $1800 best offer

Then a topps Backdoored seller sold several, but not complete for around that price(1500-1800), missing the big autos(Bradley,Oscar, and Magic), that seller sold more in a big private sale that we now see being sold by other sellers broken up as singles)

For me as well $1500 would be a great price, if I was buying
and if I was selling I would hope for 2k

I see this dropping and dropping until he takes someone's offer of $1800-2000. I hope no one is dumb enough to pay $6k for it.
