It is my understanding that the O-Pee-Chee Metal cards are chrome with regular refraction and the Metal X cards are chrome with a rainbow refractor and the "snowy mountain peak" effect. I just received a couple of cards that seem to be in between. These cards are chrome with the rainbow refraction but no "snowy mountain peaks" Has anyone else seen this variation and if so, does that mean there are three metal versions of each card, Metal, Metal X, and Metal X with "snowy mountain peak"?

Gold- Has a rainbow reflection
Metal- Has a chrom reflection
Metal X- Has a rainbow reflection with the mountains

And just to note that the Update Gold variations are alot shinier than the Regular set Gold cards.

Regular ones are more of a matte texture and give a spotlight of rainbow and the Update Gold cards are more chrome-like and have an actual rainbow stripe that shoots accross the cards.

What I am referring to has been mentioned elsewhere, for example, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=360154682579 (not my auction), where the cards are the Metal X version missing the mountains. They look similar to the metal cards, but with a rainbow reflection. I have three of these and they appear to be different from the regualr gold and the update gold. Has anyone else noticed this issue?
