serial #d cards
When it comes to serial #d card, does it make a difference where the # of your card falls into the print run? (example : 40 out of 215). Does it affect the value? What seems to be the general thought on this?

I not positive but I don't really think it matters. If it was say #1 of 1500 posibley a hard core collector of that person might want it but besides that. It doesn't matter I have sereveral hundered of them and I don't see a change in price. Like for me I have a 2007 topps 52 cameron maybin (RC) red ink hand signed 32/52 but that a parallel that falls 1 in every 4,750 packs and thats for the blue ink that's not a parallel
Hi I'm james and love collecting cards. I have alot of baseball rookie autos as well as alot more jerseys and autos from football, basketball and baseball with v ery rare cards. |

has a little effect. when a collector tries to complete what is called a trifecta they need the 1, 8 and last numbered so to them these three cards hold much much more meaning and value.
Besides this some card numbers may have more value to the right collector. All of this stuff just depends on the circumstances [IMG]http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/uu112/kidd99007/Pujols_havoc_01.jpg[/I MG] STL Cards for life! |

You will find the odd collector that collects the first or last card of a print run (1/25, 100/100, etc) and many that will pay a small premium for cards with the player's jersey #. Other than those examples it really doesn't matter too much. Personally, I collect cards #'d 24/??? but that is just me.
