I received two nice packages over the past couple of days. I received one from Jaycob P yesterday that had a great mix of Rockies in it. Mike G sent one today that had several newer ones that I needed including some Moments and Milestones cards. Thanks for the great packages guys.

Yesterday was the saddest day of our lives as we had to do you know what for you know who. Thanks again for all of your support over the past week!

Picked up some Topps Chrome today and have a bunch of nice shiney cards to send out - some refractors too!
Also a GU Legendary cuts going out to Texas....

going to see Coldplay in a free concert on Monday with my son...hope he won't be too embarrassed to be seen with me! Hey I won the tickets!

Driving one daughter to camp in Poconos on Sunday...
another to upstate NY next Sunday...

my apartment is getting quieter and quieter .... happy sigh....

Sorry it's been a long while since I've posted. First of all, I want to say thanks for a...

MAILDAY!

Both packages came on Saturday.

First, from Nimster, he sent a number of nice Twins, including 2008 Topps Morneau and Santana inserts, 2007 SP Legendary Cuts Puckett and a 2006 Topps Co-Signers Hunter/Morneau silver/blue. Also included was a 2005 Skybox Autographics Shannon Stewart jersey/auto. Thanks!

Second, from Wayne, he sent the last remaining card for my 1976 Topps set... Dennis Eckersley. Thanks a bunch. Now to start up on 1975.

I also picked up some Topps Chrome today during my lunch break and busted it today. I will post scans after I get home tonight.

I don't have much to say, but I've been missing you guys. I am still surrounded by piles of cards you guys have sent. What a great group. It's good to see you guys posting and I do keep up. I am still suffering from the sweep by the Royals this week. Who wouda thunk?

Matty, my heart goes out to you. That takes more courage and character that the average family has. My prayers are always with you, my friend.

Sounds like a lot of us are in the sports business. With Jeremy and Barry filling their rooms, I have two display cases of auto'd baseball that I've picked up, plus I need to put the third up. I don't do much with bats, but I have two that I plan to display. I have the case, I just need to put it up.

The Lovely Linda showed me my birthday present early. A six-foot cherry bookcase to help hold my binders of cards. That way I can get to them better. I do like to look back at them. Especially the old Topps and Bowmans I have of the Cardinals, Senators and Browns. I try to keep organized but I don't seem to find the time to go through all the cards I have. My Redbird Buddy Randy is going to be getting cards from me for years.

I miss buddy Dodger Dave on the boards. I hope he's doing well. And we haven't heard from Dom in some time. I am really looking forward to seeing many of you in September. It is going to be such a gas.

Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone before my day gets busier. Jeremy, I am so envoius of your game used collection. Too bad the Yankees are so expensive. I can't afford even a dirt from the stadium. I had to scoop up some when I was over there.

Starting the clean up process here in IC post flood. Rays sweep Cubs. I was ok for the most part had some water in basement but waiting for HAZ MAT to come clean it up.
