I would hate to have to face Texiera and Vlad back to back. I'm pretty excited to have Pudge with us for the remainder of the year and hopes his bat is still there.

I woke up up to the Griffey Jr rumor.
Not sure where he will fit in for the good guys.
Probably another trade pending. Would worry about trading Dye or Swishwe right now.
Also don't want to see Floyd or Danks go.
Can't wait to see what transpires as the morning progresses.

So the Mariners big Blockbuster trade to improve the team this year and next is trading Arthur Rhodes for Gaby Hernandez!? The trade doesn't make much sense to me and well.. with the way this team has done this year and the moves or lack of, I'm pretty bitter. With what the Sox gave Cincy.. we couldn't come up with a comparable package to at least get fans in the seats?? Pathetic..

At least I'm a Marlins fan as well so that at least keeps me sane, and Rhodes was a favorite of mine, so it'll be easy to root for him still.

Wow. Jason Bay is a Red Sox. 29 years old, hitting .282 with 22 HR and 68 RBI's? I can only imagine that those numbers will go up with the Green Monster sitting in front of a power hitting Right Hand hitter! I will miss Manny, but to get a younger RH power hitter is a good move at this time. Craig Hansen has never developed in Boston. Brandon Moss is a nice 4th OF, but he was never going to crack the starting rotation in the OF in Boston.
