What I need is a clear sheet or roll of linoleum or congoleum with a sticky back (sticks on contact so there's no adhesive pasting which would destroy the look of the subfloor with the cards.  Put down your tile, roll out your clear sheet and walla perfect baseball card floor.  The kids could look at it.

i know all about creative vision and i dont want to dampen yours...

one thing about your latest

consider that vinal flooring is a cheap low end floor having rented my whole life and replaced it. i will tell you this, the minute you scratch it its done. dirt will find the scratch and never come out.
once you stick that vinal on your graded cards you more than likely wont get it up without damaging the cases.
clear vinal peal and stick tiles may work and you can replace scratched areas. my concern is the careful planing required so no vinal seems fall on graded card seems.
cracked vinal may also come into play because vinal performs best on a smooth flat surface that said, a high grade clear peal and stick vinal tile should be you best and first option if it even exists

floor wont work but table idea or wall will work, forget the floor.  it would be really easy to use these as dots in a back splash, then you wouldn't have to have so many of them

If you can do such a great job w/ tiles you should have no problems designing a counter top or table top.

No..it's still in the conceptual stages... I think what someone said was right about the cases getting scratched. Maybe I decided it would be just as easy in some other sort of case or behind some major sheet of plastic. My original idea was to put one of my limited print run sets on a wall in say the bathroom shower... then I did the tiles as you see them in the earlier photos in this thread. That took the place of my idea of a SP set in BGS cases. I have been trying to find a good way to show off the set really. Who has a good idea for showing off a set that looks good in the light?
