They're all garbage. Give me "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen, Sting, Road Warriors, Nikita Koloff, Dusty Rhodes any day over those guys. That's when wrestling was worth watching and not just a bunch of BS like what's being shown now days.

ECW is where most of the new wrestlers -- from Florida Championship Wrestling, essentially WWE's minor league camp -- get their feet wet. I think it's a smart move to some degree. It's just not branded correctly.

Without a doubt Shawn Michaels is a better overall athlete than Bret Hart, Hogan, or Macho Man...hogan could barely move as far as technique goes, he just had alot of charisma, macho was athletic and a high flyer but from an all around perspective couldn't hold a candle to HBK. And As far as Bret Hart goes...he never really did anything to impress me except maybe when he was with Anvil, he was better in tag team action than by himself. HBK has more accomplishments than all of them and nobody has ever been in more big time matches then he has (besides maybe Ric Flair). I'm as level headed on this topic as the rest of yall are but by far HBK could put on a better show and has accomplished more than Hart, Hogan, and Savage have.

The old ecw had some great storylines. Paul Heyman was a genius when it came to storylines and booking matches. I am shocked TNA has not offered him a deal to be a booker or a writter. Heyman was able to get wrestlers to open up with there characters.
When wwe brought back ECW Vince should have let Paul Heyman do the storylines and book the matches. |

Steve Austin and Mick Foley did there best promos in the old ECW. ECW also let guys like Eddie Guerro, Chris Jericho, and Dean Malenko wrestle for 30-40 minutes a night and have some aweson matches.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cj-2G-9y0bI This in my opinion is Austin's best interview of all time. |
