based on technical skill, you've got to go with Bret. As an all around performer, props certainly swing HBK's way.
Now, as for the above mentioned quote...give a little credit where it's due...Angle and Hart BOTH have amateur wrestling backgrounds, but I think that Bret would be second only to Eddy Guerrero in his abilty to legitamately "Stretch" someone....Just my opinion though.

Bret Hart was a great technical wrestler. Shawn Michaels is called the show stopper for a reason.

Hogan did sell tickets back in the day but he was not that great of a wrestler. Hogan would have gotten booed out of the building if he was in the old ECW.

The skit Shawn Michaels did immitating Hogan on Raw was funny.

UnderTaker is in like a different category, he definitely one of the best Big guy wrestlers, that jump out of the ring move he pulls at wrestlemania... thats crazy

ha...kidding right? Shelton isn't that good, not even close to "best". If you watch his career he has botched soooo many moves way too often, a lot of his matches are painful to watch for the pure fact you can see him slip on the ropes or trip on thin air. Just because he does one good move in a big match doesn't make him the best or close.

In terms of overall ring talent, I would say Bret Hart. Hogan was all strength, Savage was all elbows and Michaels was a close second. What about tag teams? My pick for best off all-time are the Legion of Doom Hawk & Animal!!!
