UD pulled it I believe after the issue with Topps and the lawsuit.

UD is also if you call them, saying there is a good chance if Legendary Cuts is halted these will be replaced with something else.

I recommend selling.

Called UD yesterday and today, two different people, and both said if Lawsuit shuts down Legendary Cuts being produced then that includes Legendary Mystery Cuts.

Had a fellow collector offer me one at a lower price than I expected, and checked with UD.

Lawsuit will determine what happens with the cuts, and I asked what will the replacement BV be, and was told UD will decide what is fair.

Gonna probably be fair to the UD wallet, and then UD will rerelease these cuts in another product.

As they were able to sell part of this product before they were ordered to stop.

If the product is halted completely, I don't think it will effect the mystery cuts that much. There are many baseball names included on the list that would probably not be permitted to go into circulation, however, there are many names on the list that are not baseball related and that would allow UD to still redeem many of the cut sigs. I am not a lawyer or even in the law profession, but if I understand correctly, Topps only has rights to the baseball names such as Ruth and Gehrig. UD should still have rights to the old movie stars, singers and presidents. I would say go ahead and sell the card while it is hot. They seem to be moving around the $500.00 range. If you redeem it, you might end up with a cut that will only sell for $100.00, not to mention a 3 to 4 month or longer wait just to receive the card. There is a possibilty you will end up with a high dollar cut, but would it be worth waiting until UD gets around to sending them or until the court battle ends? You will have to decide that for yourself.

Frankly, if you aren't one of upper deck's "special" customers, how in the world can you trust that the cuts that are sent out are completely at random? You are not going to get Napolean or Elvis or Babe Ruth, those are going to be reserved for their "special" customers. You are going to get a no-name one of one deceased actor or actress that no one has ever heard of before because you are one of the masses, those people that frankly upper deck could care less about.

Guys thanks for all of the great info, i actually think that the mystery cut will be redeemed i really dont care if its a ball player i will take sammy davis 1/1 lol
