Finally started scanning, here's a few fav's
Hi All,

I finally started scanning my cards (started with the graded cards). Here are a few of my favorites of this batch and why. All are from my PC and not for trade or sell.

The first that I got back from Beckett's.

The first card I pulled worth more than $100.

I think this is the only certified auto of junior that he signed his full name on (let me know if I am wrong).

The first auto that I ever pulled (and just a cool card).

I'll post more as I scan them.

i don't believe anyone gave you crap, just was stated it isn't as big of an interest as the stick and ball sports.

everyone collects differently, i myself don't like the graded stuff, but others do

something is up with allowing members to post numbers in there topics.. far as i know, web master has been contacted about this.  had a problem the other day when i posted the number 003/169   wouldnt for some reason.  Lets hope the web master is alittle more motivated than the guy that updates the on-line version of the pricing & for that matter,  the books.

I like to see all kinds of graded cards. if it be stick & ball or nascar.  I would get some of mine graded but i dont belive i have anything really worth getting slabbed. I have a few 08 legends autos, would like to get those graded but i doubt they would come back very high.

Wait a few years and see who is giving who crap when their cards get trashed because they weren't slabbed. I started getting my cards graded a few years ago starting with any card worth over $100 and have cut it back to any card I like worth over $20.

It's worth it to me to spend as much as the card is worth to have it graded so that 10-12 years from now my cards will still look as good as the day I pulled them out of the pack.

Too many of my freinds who thought they had their cards in a safe place came home one day and found their kids had got them out and trashed them. Or look at the article a couple months ago here on Beckett's where one of the writers accidentally ran over a card with the wheel on the bottom of their chair and destroyed the card.

Keep grading and know that you will have the last laugh.
