Hi to all. I'm new, don't type great and have no idea where to even start.

My name is Chip from Geogia. My dad died a few years ago and was an avid collector.
He had several boxes of baseball cards...most boxed sets or in binders and two boxes, that appear old. He had a flea market in the Atlanta area as a hobby and sold his stuff once a month..He collected lots of stuff, military, etc, but I'm interested is seeing if we have some valuable bb cards that I can sell. ....my wife lost her job and we need money.

Where do I start? How do I start?  My wife will have to do this as she is home all day and I work 10-12 hours a day in a warehouse driving a reach truck.

We have a pallet of them..ALOT!  He bought them from someone in an estate sale and gave $5,000 for all of them and before he died told me there was some 'real money' in the collection, but he didn't document a thing.

Should my wife just go thru all these boxes and pick out ones from the 70's on back, OR popular players who died or retired. We have no clue what to do.

We do have a printer that can scan and a copier..thanks so much, we have no account on EBaby or anywhere.

I think that Beckett needs to have a member of the baseball forum who can act as a moderator....I mean since moderators are volunteers already......I can think of 20 different people on here who could potentially be a moderator....

Seems as though the boards "sticky" system is auto-releasing some sticky's out of the blue,,,, its something that cant seem to be fixed,,,,,, so it seems this will need to be bumped regularly so members can find,,,,,,

Jeff,
So all of the other stickies are fine but this one has  to be bumped?  I see a couple that should flat out be deleted if the board needs room for this one.  This thread is the most useful tool on this board.

No the other sticky's may come undone on their own as well,,,, its a system glitch a programming change needs to fix,,,,,,,

As for other "sticky" posts made by members of the staff being more/less important than ones  users may or may not want it's their web site,,,,if a member of the Editorial staff or web commerce wants to stick something,, they'll do it,,,,,and it is what it is,,,,, read it and move on if  not interested is all I can recommend,,,,,

If something is helpful than users will need to make sure it doesn;t get out of sight of the top 4 or 5 pages,,,,, sorry I tried stickying it again and it keeps coming undone,,,,,
