Macs Rock as you well know. Glad to see a fellow Mac user is a collector, too.
I'd read some Mac users worries about having to start dealing with Windows attacks due to the Unix based OSX 5.x. Has that become a problem as they thought it might? I haven't heard any new complaints.
OSX 10.4.10 & 11 are still immune to any Windows viruses that might try to dump crap into the directories, because of the OS kernel design.
But, couldn't we be carriers if the type of attacks that were tried today left crap in our directories just waiting to get sent out over the net later?
I'm not sure.

I collect Pats who have been on a SB squad.

LE SB36 pins are For Sale. Fewer than 50 Player pins available for Any Collector.

Best I can tell with my MacAfee Renewal and Geeksquad help (Webroot) looks as if I came through unscathed.
Still worried about the bucket link, but I'll try tomorrow.

If you want to trade, I need DC and a padded mailer at a minimum. Rarely do I collect or trade for anything other than Bengals/Jaguars and some Cowboys.

Oh no I wish, there are 849 that still need to be fixed. Think I may end up taking the tower in to Best Buy tomorrow and let the Geeks fix it up.

don't waste your money with the geeks, go to download.com, download avast anti-virus, the free home edition, install it and update it, after you update it, reboot your comp, as it is booting up go into safe mode by continuously pushing the F8 key, when you get into safe mode, do a complete computer scan with the avast anti-virus, that is going to fix a lot of your problems.

I also suggest running the spybot or malwarebytes while in safe mode as well

as another computer geek, I'll second everything posted above. I'll pimp my favorite free antivirus scanner though, I use AVG download here http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...tag=button

my mother had this same virus on her computer and swore she never clicked ok to download anything. it was tied into a screen saver when I finally got to the bottom of it. also had to boot into safe mode to get it out.

go to start > Run > type msconfig into the search bar, click on the startup tab, make sure that it is not listed on there, if it is un-check the box, so that it doesn't boot up at start up, then click "ok", and then it will tell you that you have to re-boot, go ahead and re-boot the comp
