The Great 48 - thanks for reminding me why I don't do much business on here. For your information the cards that ARE actually in the Beckett catalog are in My Organize and are listed as wants. As to the cards I have for trade - I already have a trade page that if you want to look at I will gladly post you a link. It appears you served no purpose in this thread but to state your 'knowledge' of the trading practices here and boost your post count. Try responding to my thread next time you get something I list as needing.

Wow thats hilarious, I was seriously trying to help you cause it seems you dont know what to do and arent doing things correctly.
If you want to trade on beckett your cards must be in your organize and listed for trade, bottom line. Your link is garbage and most likley against TOS.

Who is to say borissaidfan is doing it wrong. THE TOS do not seem to apply here anymore. The racing Mod has not been on in 2 months. There are still acouple of posts here that beckett was notified about that not only had cards listed but sale prices.

Not one mod did anything about it. There is no point in listing cards here if no one has what you need. You can always add it after you make the deal. I know because I just did a trade that way.

This isnt the baseball, football, hockey forums where there are hundreds or thousands of members. There are fewer than 20 regulars and we shouldnt be chasing off members because of rules beckett itself doesnt enforce.

I have tried relentlessly forever to get this section its own mod thats a regular user of the racing section. The beckett board master knows that the regular mod hasnt been on [i understand that his computer is down] and i have suggested getting an additional.

No one wants to be slammed in public. There is a PM system here that can be used to help members. We all need to take a moment to consider using that method before alienating anyone.

If the board master moderator doesnt care enough about TOS violations to enforce them, then maybe they really are not violations. The racing collectors need to worry less about rules and more about helping each other.

It is time that beckett instead of trying to alienate collectors, to listen and make things better. There is no legitimate reason of why these rules even still exist. If trading is never going to be fee based whats the big deal.

The way this is set up is crazy, THE GREAT 48 I know where you can get a lot of your wants/needs but due to TOS I can not tell you. It is time that we stop policing each other and let the people that are supposed to be doing it, start doing it.

Beckett needs to remember every member you alienate from the boards is a possible subscription you lose or never get.

I dont have any Craven listed cause usually nobody wants them, so I went through like 10 boxes and found all I had and checked them against the list boris made then was going to add the 12 I found for him and thought I would see what he had for trade. And like most he has nothing listed.
I understand that a lot of the older members have there own way of doing things but I dont want to get booted for doing things/trades the wrong way. (even though you could do just about anything on the racing boards it seems)
So for me to be in the right and HELPING others as you say, I dont see the point for anyone to be attacking me......?

There is one plus side to all this. It's actually stirred up some activity here. Maybe it's beckett's way of trying to kill the Racing collector hobby, after all they did kill the monthly magazine. The made this site unreal to navigate, they removed the checklist option, they don't have any admins that are "helpful", too many things have changed that made me not even come to these forums, anymore. Thank God, we have a Premium Racing site to share the hobby, and make trades without all these insane methods used here. The sad thing is, I use a Card Collector program, to keep track of the cards I own, and aparently, they reference Beckett for the prices and checklists, and since this is the case, The Card Collector program is also missing sets and or cards. I posted about 2 weeks ago or so, on some cards missing from a set, and nothing has been said, and or no response given. I say we Vote shlbysaleen as Racing admin.
