Is there a print run stated for 08-09 Victory Black? I know there are something like 1/720 packs but are they out of /5 or /10?

The only year they had listed print runs was in 2005/06 where they were stamped /5. That was the first year Victory did a black parallel. Since then, the Black parallels have never had any serrial numbering and have neer has a stated print run. Only guesses have been had at what they have been. Some people have tried to calculate it out and found that they have been between 5-15 in the last few years.

I just bought a 08-09 Victory Black Jordan Staal. They must be rare because it's the ONLY Victory Black Jordan Staal I've seen from any year.

Yep rare for sure, between 5 and 15 copies max. Another reason you don't see a whole lot of Victory Blacks on ebay is because Victory is priarily busted by kids, and not older collectors looking to bust a product to flip on ebay. Chances are that the same Staal you have is also in a a few kids collections too, and they likely don't know what they have!

Just imagine if they had Victory Black back in 99-00! Remember the 50 card Gretzky tribute. Those would be worth a fourtune!

Actually, you are right, they would be really sought after. Even the 03/04 Victory golds (that was toughest victory parallel that year) that were /25 can go for soem huge $$$.

But also, this is really ironic. Today I was at our monthly show out here in Vancouver (well Burnaby) and was able to pick up this bad boy for what I felt was a reasonable price:

I wasn't the best i math but...

08-09 Victory is a 250 card set.
Victory Black is 1/720 packs
That means you would have a 1 in 180,000 chance of pulling the player you collect. (I think)

I'd rather spend a couple bucks!
