It's kind of lame, but I can't complain about guaranteed authenticity.  Plus once in a while it is hard to tell where the swatch came from, so the descriptions do help sometimes.  I would definitely like to see something about the featured player on the back instead of the normal generic card back.

hi i agree with EVOL909... i would much rather have a little more info on where the swatch piece actually comes from. If i remeber correctly, i believe that thr Ol'Pacific Company was pretty good at that, stating where or with what Team the swatch piece was from

I don't think they need full stats since that is whats on the base cards, but they could bring back the trivia type info like on the old cards, like "Jacques Caron is a cattle farmer off-season."

I'm also not a fan of when the authenticity hologram on the back is twice the size of the swatch on the front.

I think it's fine how it is.

If I want the stats/traits of a player I resort to the base and insert cards.

If I want trivia I look through my vintage cards.

Nuff said.

How about the date of the game he worn that jersey in.

something like this:

You have a piece of a game used jersey that was worn by Patrick Roy on 11/11/1997 vs. The Chicago Blackhawks..or something like that so if maybe you were at that game he worn that jersey  it would mean more to you.

OK, my final solution. One side of the card is basically like a base card (picture, name, team, position). The other side is...oh this is too good...all memorabilia. Imagine a jersey, patch, glove swatch the size of an entire card. The best example of what I mean would be to glue a base card and a lettermarks, or similar card, together. Now there's value added!

Yeah...didn't Private Stock and/or Titanium have that?
