1976 payton/gradeing and centering
I am new to the gradeing of my sports cards.  I just started getting
interested in having some of my cards graded which has led me to nit
pick through hundreds of cards looking for what I think are 9s or 10s.
Centering to me is the toughest of the qualifications to get perfect,
but how important is it really when determining if a card is an 8 or
9?  I have a Payton RC that from the front looks basically flawless.  (
I was extemely excited when I pulled it out)  however, I turned it over
and the back was off centered by quite a bit (top to bottom).  The
bubble /circle around the card number is slightly cut of on the top and
there is a slight piece of black line on the bottom from the next
card.  Could anyone tell me the damage to the gradeing of this card
that this centering problem has caused.  If it could still be an 8+
card I  would still like to grade.it.  The front is perfect.  Thanks

Burke
