The new BGS registry
I haven't been to the Beckett website for a while and boy, am I surprised by all the new changes. What happened to the BGS registries? I log on mostly to view others' registries and to update my own registries. What happened to all the pics and notes that I uploaded to my old registries? Why is it so difficult to add a card? It's like a 5-step process.

I also have some vintage cards in my SGC registry and they updated their registries maybe 6 months ago and it looks sooooooo nice. Why can't the BGS registry be simple and nice looking like the SGC registry?

Intriguing Question!  Your post is so insightful, I often wonder about many of the same concepts myself, but unfortunately it has been goodbye forevermore for the old ways of the registry.

Ya, well how about this.

Over 100 of my cards did not transfer from the old registry, I asked several times to have them transfered.  Finally gave up on that.

I have entered cards about half a dozen times and they are all erased every time.  The last two times they stayed on, so I added several dozen of my cards.  I now log on and they are all erased now, so several hours worth of time completely wasted.

I hear your frustration. I also enjoyed viewing other people's registries and mines from the old registry. It such a nuisance to navigate the registry now, it has become a waste of time to even bother with the registry. I mean I still get that 'webserver has timedout' error when I try to search the registry. I don't want to sound like a "beckett basher" but I really want beckett to fix this garbage they call a registry and listen to it's customers and revert back to the old registry or atleast improving the current one by leaps and bounds.

I have a very rare michael jordan card signed by john salley!!!

I'm not a fan of the my collections or registery or whatever it is either...

I don't even bother looking at others collections no more, too much time involved.

I don't even look myself.  It is to hard, it never loads.  And I'm not the biggest reader, I'd rather look at pictures.  But there are no scans anymore.

I'm as frustrated as you guys are.  The time out error is just as terrible as before, and if you don't get one it takes forever for the registry pages to load.  I've been trying to add a card since Aug. and have been contacting BGS about this since then.  I'm starting to loose hope.
