1997 Donruss Studio - a question
Just in case any of you do not know what I am referring to, these are the 8x10 guys. This was a small set that featured two different set cards of the superstars of the game (or at least they were at the time):

Anyway my question pertains to the parallels of the set. There is the regular version, a gold press proof (# 4,000m) and a silver press proof  (# 1,000m). Now I also see listed on the Beckett registry and in the price guide a "Postcard Portrait" version too. All these years I have never seen this version listed online...ever (and cards from this set are listed frequently) or anywhere else. Henceforth I am skeptical that this "Postcard Portrait" parallel actually exists in the first place.

Does anyone have any information pertaining to this or could it be just the case of an innocent typo listing?

You don't have to go through all that. If may ask are you implying though that these Postcard Portrait parallels do indeed exist?

These have eluded me for 11+ years as well...I've never seen them either. Often times, Beckett Marketplace and ebay seller will incorrectly list the regular 8 x 10s listed as "Postcard Portrait."

The Postcard Portraits are supposedly 4" x 6"!

Simply the most complete/comprehensive single player collection! PERIOD! Now with 238 #1/1s and 96.4% completion out of 3379 Beckett listed items!

If that is true, then I have never seen them either, and I've bought several boxes of the stuff since they were released.

Maybe these "Postcard Portrait" parallels do exist after all.
