Im a Brett Favre fan and want to get a AUTO card. But not sure whether to get one of Favre as a Green Bay Packer or a New York Jet.

Im leaning towards a Jet card just because of how the Packers treated Favre...I dont know, your opinion.

I would rather have a Packers auto of Favre.  I think he'll be remembered by most as a Packer.  With that said I wouldn't mind having one of each.  I already have this:

Either Jets or G.B would be a nice addition to any ones collection. If it were me, I would lean towards the G.B ones 1st (He will most likely go in the Hall of Fame as a Packer) then get a couple of Jet AUTO's.

Which do you remember more...Montana being a 49er or a CHief. Rice being a 49er or a Raider or worse, a Seahawk? Emmitt as a Cowboy or a Cardinal? I would stick with the team that he played his HOF years with, not necessarily the last team he played with (especially if only a couple of years). So, in answering your ???...I would go with the PACKERS.

You can solve the problem by getting an auto from when he was in his Southern Mississippi uni --

or just go with the Packers uni.

getting an auto from when he was...meaning it was signed when he was in SMU, or a card picturing him in his college uniform, signed while he was in the NFL years later? Assuming he has not lost all his Packer fans with the summertime drama that went on with it all, I am sure there would be a great fan base collecting his stuff while being a packer (given the 3 choices).

Brett Favre never went to SMU..he did go to USM on the other hand.

If it was me, I would go with Packers unless you're a Jets fan..in which case I would go with Jets. Plus, right now you might pay a premium for a Jets card because of the limited number and recent release that might not hold its value as well as a Packers card of similar quality.
