PSA or BGS Where Should I grade my cards?
Depends on your preference. If you want to grade baseball cards (especially vintage types), PSA should be the choice. Anything else, beckett is fine.

Breakdown of both companies:

Service - both about the same, both very responsive and helpful.
Turnaround time - both will always guarantee to grade your cards in time.
Price - depends on which service level. However if you submit in bulk, PSA is cheaper.
Quality - beckett cases/slabs are better, however if you are a registry builder and have hundreds of cards, PSA is a huge space saver.
Resale value - depends, generally beckett gets a higher resell value (small), but vintage cards PSA will be get higher resell value due to demand and set builders.
Visual appeal of slabs - matter of opinion, some people like the slim look of the PSA case, others like the thick sturdy look of the beckett's case.

Hope this helps.

The post above pretty much has it all correct, but for a specific recommendation, tell us what you want to grade and what you plan do with the stuff (sell, keep for pc, or hold for future value)

BGS

Also PSA does not have gaurenteed turnaround times no longer, thay say aproximatley how ever many days...

PSA you have to pay 100.00 membership a year...

PSA slabs are inferior, cards also move around in the slabs which can cause damage I've seen it many times....

Stop being bias, there is nothing wrong with PSA. From your other posts I got a feeling you work for beckett or something. Like in my dirty slab thread, you said you never got a graded card back with dirt or anything wrong with the slab in over 4 years of submissions (very hard to believe, considering I have around only 40 graded cards from beckett and I can say atleast half of them have dirt in them). You got hundreds of beckett graded cards and nothing ever went wrong, hard to believe.

Yes PSA charges a 100 dollar fee, but why don't you mention what you get with that membership (6 free submissions, 1 yr price guide online, 1 yr market report, special monthy deals, etc...). PSA turnaround times are 99.99 percent on time. You make it sound like they miss turnaround times often. Like I said about the slabs, it's a matter of opinion. There is nothing wrong with the PSA slabs (lol let me guess you're going to show me that video of you breaking the PSA case with your bare hands......). Or let me guess you are going to violently shake a PSA card to prove to me that the edges get damaged or better yet you could tell me how PSA slabs aren't bullet proof, fire proof,  and nuclear bomb proof............ In fact I don't know what you do with your graded cards that you need so much protection.

I have no idea who you are but why so defensive? The original poster asked for opinions I gave mine, Why can't you accept that maybe others don't feel the same way as you?

Instead of being a TROLL and picking fights which is what this seems like you are trying to do learn to accept others opinions, I didn't realize My post would upset you so badly when clearly it was not my intention.

I always find the guys who know the least about the hobby and certain aspects of it are the ones who jump off the handle over very petty things such as this,

Let me ask you... Is this really worth getting all worked up over? Did you need to come at me the way did because I offered a opinion you don't agree with? If you love PSA so much and dislike BGS why are you on Beckett's boards? you know PSA has one too right??

Also would you please go to the PSA boards and ask "what grader would you use" when everyone says PSA and writes everything they hate about BGS would you jump their backs like you just did to me?

It's always very transparent who trolls and BGS bashers are slip ups like this make you very noticed and it's easy to see your agenda..

Have a nice day BGSstan Smile

e-fight, e-fight, E-Fight!!!!!!! just kidding. Truthfully, I could care less about you (no offense), PSA, BGS, or any other grading company. Maybe subconsciously I was attacking you, but believe me I wasn't intentionally. If I was, I apologize, I don't post much here or anywhere else that would be considered "trolling". I was bored at work and probably wasn't thinking straight.

Honesty, I prefer BGS (hence why I have used and continue to use their service and post on their forums). Again, sorry and no e-fight from me. Hope BGS doesn't give me bad grades on my next submission because of this, lol.

PSA or BGS Where Should I grade my cards?
I collect Jordan Staal cards and only his RC's that are graded GEM MINT. I have 8 different but only one is PSA (Black Diamond). All the rest are BGS. Not that I'm bias...it's that it seems only BGS Gem Mints come up for auction. I might sell the PSA one and buy it in BGS. Once, again, not because I'm bias but because I might as well try to keep to the same grading service.

I see alot of cards being graded by other grading companies (I won't mention any names) but I don't trust them.

The only ones I would trust are PSA and BGS. They have the highest resale value if you ever do decide to trade or sell.
