Hey all, I am new here.  I just had an auction for a 79/80 OPC hocket set w/Gretzky RC on ebay cancelled because ebay says that the Gretzky Rc is a highly counterfeited item.
So they suggest you get it graded, however, I am concerned it will further reduce the value of the card as I am sure it will only grade a 2 or 3, which is too low for any graded card collectors to want and a non-graded card collector like myself does not want it in a holder, but just a binder.
My question is, am I right? will the grading of this card actually decrease its value? should I be trying to sell my set elsewhere? or should I just bite the bullet and expense to authenticate this card?
