I expect him to be somewhere in the middle.  He has a lot of help around him and doesn't have to step in and immediately become "the man" on his team.  Oden is also going to have to get used to playing at the NBA level, but I think he'll be much better than Olowokandi ever was.

He'll be the candy man. Can't stay healthy and extremely overrated

Skeet, considering none of us has seen him actually play, you're comment was way over the top. Olowokandi had nothing going for him at the pro-level, even in the pre-season's he was bad. Oden was good last pre-season - NBA good - then he did his knee. So one knee injury followed by (so far as we know) successful surgery is "can't stay healthy"? A bit harsh, don't you think?
Will Oden be a D-Rob, a Kandi man or somewhere in between? Tough question. He does have a lot of help down low in portland with Bo Outlaw and LaMarcus willing to pound the boards. There's also the white Godzilla and Channing Frye to back up at both low post positions - so he will not have to be "the Man" straight away. He will be able to ease his way in to NBA form. Has he got NBA form? I believe so. You have to remember, a certain Georgetown Centre by the name of Patrick Ewing put up very similar collegiate numbers and he had a bum knee at a time when Arthriscopic surgery wasn't as advanced as it is now. Look at the stellar career he had.

Collect Patrick Ewing, Jalen Rose, Kevin Garnett, LaMarcus Aldridge, Jeff Green

if you have less than 25 trades, I will ask you to send first.

That remains to be seen, however, Oden has more charisma than Kandi ever had.  I think he'll be fine...
