Anyone have any info on this card (Jeff Gordon)
Going through a garage sale buy from last year and came across this
card.  I think it is from 1994 and I know it is an error because Gordon
was not born in 1921.  Trying to find out the set it came from and if
it is a rookie.  Any help would be appreciated.

Looks fake to me, It looks like one of the brody [cant remember the name] card that were big in the 90's.  They are worthless because not one of them are licensed.  He did cards everyone, even had a jordan wheaties card that was great.

That card is a knock-off or fake. These where made in the mid 90's when sports cards where hot, and these fly by night printers made cards up.They also made Jordan and Shaq cards that looks the same.

Evidently everyone is unsure about the author whether major or minor or fake card company. I would suggest that you look in all copies/years of beckett's to see if this card shows up anywhere? I haven't seen the card before in a collection or on ebay, but that doesn't mean it isn't listed somewhere. I would be interested in this card if it came available just for the image of Jeff Gordon on this card. Obviously it is from the earlier days of his career. I have alot of valuable Jeff Gordon cards in MINT condition that I would also consider trading. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in considering.

im not unsure it is fake and if you trade a valuable card for it you are getting taken.  The card is fake fake fake.

My cousin opearated a card shop back then and had tons of these.   he had one with michael jordan on a wheaties box, something of shuler.  They are fake.

It probably was in beckett warning people that it was a fake

I'm not disputing whether it is a fake or not, I'm just saying that I find the card interesting. I have not seen this card and if it is not a licensed card then it is considered a homegrown card. Besides the value of something is always in the eyes of the buyer as to value. I know plenty of people that have counterfeit $20 dollar bills on the wall just as a conversation piece. What is worthless today may be worth alot more tomorrow...this is what collecting is 50% about...the other 50% is wanting it!

Besides since it was a known fake maybe everyone threw thier's away!

I don't think trading a valuable card/s for something that may not be a licensed item is a ripoff, I like the card and would be giving up something licensed I have multibles of for something unlicensed I have none of. Isn't this the whole reason people end up with things in the first place. You give up something you believe is less valueable to you today to get something you think is more valuable to you tomorrow. It is not always the monetary value that counts in the end it is whether you have something that you percieve as more desirable.
